Bill Rogers, IOM

Bill grew up in Monticello, Arkansas, and has worked for the Chamber since 1998. He has been a Public Relations professional since 1981, spending 17 years in the Media Relations Department for the Arkansas Razorbacks. As a college sophomore in 1976, he became the nation’s youngest major college public address announcer. He created two iconic phrases still in use: “THEEESSEE are the Arkansas Razorbacks” and “Basketball Palace of Mid-America.” He received his Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Arkansas, is a 2002 graduate of the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute and a 2007 graduate from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management. A retired 40-year college and high school basketball referee, he’s three states away from visiting all 50 states.
