Springdale Care Corridor

The Springdale Care Corridor, home to the region’s highest profile health care providers, stretches from Exit 69 to Exit 73 of I-49.

Centrally located within the Northwest Arkansas metro, the Springdale Care Corridor continues to experience rapid growth. New construction is planned for the UAMS Health Orthopaedics & Sports Performance Center and Children’s Safety Center of Washington County.

Arkansas Children’s Northwest, Highlands Oncology, Willow Creek Women’s Hospital, Arisa Health and facilities representing Northwest Health, Mercy Northwest and Washington Regional welcome patients from a four-state region.

Northwest Medical Center-Springdale

For more than 60 years, the largest healthcare system in Northwest Arkansas has provided the facilities, technology and training necessary to meet the growing medical needs of the region. The 222-bed acute care facility has over 300 physicians on staff with a wide range of medical specialties.

Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW), the first and only pediatric hospital in the Northwest Arkansas region, is a level IV pediatric trauma center. ACNW operates a 24-bed inpatient unit; a surgical unit with five operating rooms; outpatient clinics offering over 20 subspecialties; diagnostic services; imaging capabilities; occupational therapy services; and Northwest Arkansas' only pediatric emergency department, equipped with 30 exam rooms.

Highlands Oncology has been providing excellence in cancer care in Northwest Arkansas for decades with comprehensive programs enabling patients to see multiple specialists and support services all under one roof.

Northwest Health has a presence in the Care Corridor through Willow Creek Women's Hospital. Willow Creek is one of the state's busiest birthing facilities. The hospital offers a wide range of services for women with 64 licensed beds.

Mercy Emergency Department - Springdale is a free-standing emergency room providing state-of-the-art emergency care, 24/7. The ER features a lab, X-ray, CT scan, 12 exam rooms, two triage rooms and one trauma room plus a medical helicopter pad.

UAMS Health Orthopaedics & Sports Performance Center
This 31-acre site is due south of Arkansas Children's Northwest on Watkins Avenue. The Center is expected to open in 2025.
