Northwest Arkansas has been named as the 10th-best place to live in the United States for 2023-24. The annual ranking is conducted by U.S. News and World Report.
“Our region has been ranked in the Top 10 of this ranking for eight consecutive years,” said Chamber president Bill Rogers. “That speaks to both the high quality of life in Northwest Arkansas and how our region continues to work to address the inherent issues that come with growth and prosperity. Northwest Arkansas is a wonderful place to live and work.”
“Our robust economy, expanding health care, job growth and high-quality education are magnets for those looking to relocate here,” Rogers added. “We enjoy a remarkable quality of life, and the message is clear… Northwest Arkansas has open arms for anyone seeking a better place to live.”
Factors involved in the ranking include job markets, quality of life (crime rates, health care availability, education quality and commute time) and the number of people moving in and out of the region.
Little Rock was the only other Arkansas metro to make the list, ranking 102 out of the 150 U.S. cities ranked.
