Outstanding Access to Higher Education
Residents of Springdale have access to one of the nation's major research institutions, one of the top ranked Christian liberal arts colleges, the state's premier community college, targeted technical training plus many other opportunities for advanced degrees.
Led by the University of Arkansas' flagship campus in Fayetteville, the region is rich with educational opportunities. In addition to the state's premiere research institution, Northwest Arkansas students also have access to one of the top private universities in the South at John Brown University. Harding University, located in Searcy, Arkansas, offers graduate level instruction in education at a satellite campus in the area. Two national schools -- Webster University and University of Phoenix -- also have facilities in Northwest Arkansas.
