MISCELLANEOUS TAX

The Miscellaneous Tax Section handles various areas of taxation for the Revenue Division, including but not limited to: Cigarette Tax, Tobacco Products Tax; Cigarette Paper; Imported Wine; Wine, Liquor, and Beer Enforcement; Amusement Tax; Soft Drink Tax; Merchandise Vending; Beauty Pageant Registration Fees; Beer and Liquor Tax; Domestic Wine Tax; and Waste Tire Fee. WITHHOLDING TAXES

Employers are required to withhold Arkansas individual income taxes on all employees who perform services for an employer doing business in, or deriving income from sources in Arkansas. Employers are required to remit the full amount deducted and withheld from the wages of all employees on a monthly basis beginning with the first employee hired. WORKER'S COMPENSATION

Workers’ Compensation insurance is mandatory in Arkansas if you have at least three employees. The Springdale Chamber can assist you in identifying insurance companies who provide this kind of insurance. For additional information, contact:
