The Milken Institute Best Performing Cities ranking consistently ranks the Springdale-Fayetteville-Rogers MSA high among the nation's major metros. Ranked first in the nation in 2003, Springdale's metro currently ranks 27th in the 2009 listing. The Springdale-Fayetteville-Rogers metro has been ranked in the Top 10 by Milken three of the last seven years and in the top 30 of large US metros all but one of the last seven years.
